FC Annecy created the FCA Social Club, an initiative dedicated to change the sport to a more inclusive & diverse ecosystem.
Challenge
Shine a light on initiatives that remain too often off the radar, at least very disconnected from the tip of the iceberg of a football club.
Bring joy to young people with a disability.
Creative solution
Create an unforgettable experience for young people with the Down syndrome, making them the stars of FC Annecy new third kit. A jersey Blue & Yellow, the official support colours of the degenerative disease. We held a workshop and a proper photoshoot with the young people, giving them the chance to be actors and play their part in launching the kit.
Then they met their idols for a special training session, where they paired up with a pro player as their godfather. We can proudly say we turned football into The Beautiful Game again.
