We should never not be aware of our History.
August 19th 2024 marks the 80th anniversary of World War II battles in Plateau des Glières and the Liberation of Haute-Savoie by the « Maquisards ». Founded in 1927, FC Annecy has a rich history and a responsibility to connect with its territory.
Challenges
1. How do we reinforce Savoie & Haute-Savoie populations’ affinity with FCA?
2. How can we increase awareness about the club without media $?
3. How do we integrate new sponsors naturally in the content ?
4. How do we increase sales of FCA football shirts?
Creative solution
After two years of contents focusing on the relation between Annecy’s people and its natural environment (22/23 home kit & 23/24 home kit), we took a step further to pay a tribute to History.
Primrose shot the campaign in Plateau des Glières with some of the players, meeting with the President of Glières Association who told the unique story of the Maquisards and the strong link with FC Annecy. We also partnered up with Haute-Savoie county in order to educate a wider audience.
